Main similarities between all the cultures
Some cultures share language, religion, history, traditions... (For ex., in Madagascar, French is an official language, while the culture is totally different from the French one)
Throughout history, there have been an amazing culture shock due, to a large extent, because of conquests and wars.

Nowadays, thanks to globalization, we have lived a mix of cultures. For this reason, there are a lot of people that don't belong just to a unique culture.
We use words which are very or totally similar: bar, ok, mama, chocolate, coffee, pijama, museum, potato, banana, photo, football, hotel, mosquito, karaoke, pizza, sushi, taxi, telephone, video, television...
We practice similar sports and, in fact, we have the Olympic Games every 4 years.
Similarities between countries inside the European Union
Most of us have addopted the euro as unique coin.
Every European country has a democracy system.
We share institutions as the European Parliament, the European Commission, the European Council...
We have similar holidays as Christmas, All Saints, Easter...
Most of the European countries belonged to the Roman Empire
Some differences between all the cultures
We have different beliefs and thoughts. We have different religions, ideologies...
We belong to multiple races, which makes us different in appearance terms
We have a unique gastronomy in each country.

Each culture has their own costumes and celebrations, and also each one has a different way for celebrating them. (For ex. in North America it is common going to the houses asking for sweets on All Saints Eve wearing a scary costume, while in the Philippines it is normal going to the cemetery and have lunch there with the deceased relatives)
We have multiple ways of communicate and ralationate to the others, as well as different languages. We also greet differently.

Each culture has its own lifestyle, way of dressing, habits... (For ex., in muslim culture women wear the hijab, or African culture wear very colorful attires)

We speak different languages and we also have different types of communication
We have differences in the salary as well as in the cost of life
We have different habits and lifestyles. (For ex., in Spain we have dinner at 9 as sooner, and in Ireland they have it between 5:30 and 7 p.m.)
We have different personalities, so we can also find differences in the relationships.
