Advantages
everyone is responsible for the consequences: don't shift responsibilities to others
people feel valued

decisions made by people who lack political knowledge

EPISTOCRACY
Advantages
decisions are made by knowledgeable people who have expertise in field of politics
eliminate the likelihood of potential implications
accurately foresee the potential course of actions
diminish the chances of repercussions
is more likely to bring benefits
less prone to being manipulated
less likely to form unbiased judgement
decisions are based on good consideration
Disadvantages
is not viable: impossible to reasonably identify who is an expert
exert disproportionate influence
may be biased
experts may follow their vested interest
ordinary people can be demotivated - leads to crisis
selected minority
misuse of power
