        As of 2019, there are more than 550,000 font in the world. A search in MyFonts, which is the largest distributor of commercial fonts shows that over 130,000 fonts that fall into more than 36,000 font families, more than 4,000 type designers, and more than 2,700 professional font foundries.
        
        Humanizing Serifs: Variations of Sans-Serifs that are considered to be more modern. They are often used In brands that use bold, high-contrast serifs in their logos and website text. The use for serifs is considered to almost feel nostalgic as it was used before everything because digital and wacky. This type of typeface tends to have a deeply humanizing effect that ends up being carried onto the brands that use it.
        
        Round Sans-Serifs: Many companies and brands have moved to using rounded sans-serif typefaces because of the clean look. These typefaces often move towards highly friendly geometrics the project a friendly and approachable vibe. They are often used by brands such as AirBnB, Google, and Spotifty. When paired with a bold and playful color palette, these round typefaces often allow a business to develop a feeling of trust and positivity with the audience they aim for.
        
        Google launched its own library of typefaces called Google Fonts. This was an open source that made all the fonts free for everyone. This allowed for the innovation of more fonts to be more viewable on the internet.

        Johannes Gutenberg creates first printing press which only prints the font "Textura." This font is also known as referred to as Blackletter, or Gothic and was often used In the Bible.
        
        Rustic Fonts: Include variations of handwritten fonts that tend to fall into slab and serif variations.       - William Caslon created a new typeface style called "Caslon," which is now referred to as "Old Type". It was created to improve the readability.
