When we take care of our social relationship, it means we are taking care of our behavior and behavior is something that can affect our health. We can take an example when we have a close friend. That person’s behavior will be our behavior as well and vice versa. Imagine if that person has a bad behavior such as smoking and drinking alcohol habits, but we always hanging out with that person. We will end up become a smoker and drinker just like that person. Otherwise, we can help our friend to stop the bad habits but it is quite hard to do especially these days

Psychosocial will also take a big part of our health. In our life, we need support and we can get social support from the relationship that we have. Social support refers to the emotionally sustaining qualities of relationships. Social support may have indirect effects on health through enhanced mental health, by reducing the impact of stress, or by fostering a sense of meaning and purpose in (Cohen 2004; Thoits 1995).
Good social relationship involvement for health
it will increase our physical health. It will affect especially for the elders. They tend to have a good gathering and it motivated them to maintain their health to be able to have social interactions for a long time. Besides that, it will increase our health mentally. It makes us gaining more positiveness and confidence. When we get the support, we will be able to do more things and when someone listens to us, it will make us more confident because of the feedback that we got. Then we can be happier than usual because we can control our emotions.
Bad social relationship involvement for health
It will be affecting our health physically and mentally. Imagine having a lot of pressure coming from someone that makes we cannot do whatever you want to do. We must be thinking that we can’t do anything anymore. It’s possible for you to have over-think and even stress. We really need to avoid abusive and negative person. They will only make any situation get worse.
If we look in a bad way, we will have bad habits just like friends around us and we can’t handle our emotion. In a good way, we will influence our friends to have good habits and become happier.

That’s why we need to take care of our social relationship to take care of our health.
