Women from rural areas (poor women) continue having high birth rates in urban areas.
Increase in birth rate leads to increase in population size and changes the demographic strucutre of the city as there are more younger people.
Increased population leads to more taxes and therefore more investment can be done to further develop the city.i.e infrastructure can be improved.
