pancreatic triacylglyervol dec from 8 to 6.2
most improvement in week 1
1st phase insulin (increased) response matched controls but max insulin exceeded response
maximal insulin sensitivity exceeded controls
conclusion
energy restriction normalised beta cell func, heparic insulin sensitivity. caused dec pancreatic and liver triacylglyerol
showed dec ditary energy reverse T2DM
