Plot
Rising action
After finding out about this, Captain Hart began to annoy the population by interviewing one by one.
Climax
Captain Hart tries at all costs to know where the strange man is and is willing to do anithing to achieve it while Martin believes in the inhabitants of the planet.
Conflict
The inhabitants of the planet didn´t receive the astronauts because the day before Jesus had been. The conflict that it generated was that Captain Hart didn´t believe that Jesus had been there doing miracles. That caused him to have bad actions with the inhabitants.
Falling action
The captain found out that all his other crews have died and that it wasn´t them and he decides to go to the mayor to obtain definitive information. The mayor couldn´t tell him where the strange man was and the captain shot him, then he headed for his ship with the crew.
Beginning
Captain Hart, Martin and the crew Members they arrive on planet forty- three and decide to wait a day to go talk to the mayor of the town.
Resolution
Captain Hart decides to go planet by planet to find the strange man while 7 crew members of his ship and Martin decide to stay on the planet because they had faith.
Theme
I think the author tries to tell us how we would act if we meet Jesus again. There are people who would trust and believe in him and have faith like Martin and other who don´t do that and don´t believe like Captain Hart.
I think he tries to tell us that today´s society is the same or even much worse than at the time when Jesus arrived on Earth since he would be mistreated the same.
