turns into a heart felt discussion
He asks Jefferson to stop being mean with Ms. Emma
He acts like he could care less
Grant and Jefferson begin to argue
"Just keep on Vexing me" (pg.129)
Insults Vivian. "Her old pussy ain't no good"
Grant would usually hit someone for that, but he saw the pin in Jeffersons face.
Grant explains how Vivian worries about him and is the reason he continues to come and see him.
Jefferson knocks over the basket of food.
Talk with Sheriff :silhouettes:
Asks Grant if he's made progress
He says he didn't know
Miss Emma talked to his wife and asked for a better place to sit down and talk to Jefferson instead of the cell
This obviously annoys the Sheriff
His wife was really rude about it. Upsetting Miss Emma
Decides that they can meet in the dayroom, but he will be shackled and it's up to Jefferson
