-Performing nasal breathing naturally slows the number of breaths taken
-When nose breathing, a person is slowing down the amount of breaths they take, which tell the nervous system to calm down
-When overbreathing in stressful and high anxiety situations a person may inflict a fight or flight response

-When breathing through the nose oxygen intake is much greater since the nose produces NO the lungs can better absorb oxygen
-Increasing NO also increases blood flow throughout the body.

It was observed that cultures which were nasal breathing had perfectly straight teeth. No need for orthodontic work.

I believe there is a reason why the term "mouth-breather" has been used as a derogatory term from someone stupid.

Some many variations of yoga or mediation techniques which focus on the breath. How? usually inhaling through the nose and out the mouth
