Most common aches and pains
Nervous System
Ataxia telangiectasia: manifests itself in the form of motor abnormalities (ataxia, dystonia and chorea), psychomotor retardation and oculomotor abnormalities, such as ocular apraxia.
MYOCLONIES: They are rapid, sudden onset, involuntary, very brief movements of variable amplitude, which originate in the central nervous system due to injury or dysfunction of any of the structures that participate in motor function.
Korea. Chorea is characterized by involuntary, repetitive, brief, irregular, and fairly rapid movements that often involve the face, mouth, trunk, and extremities.
Parkinson's disease: It is a degenerative condition that combines asymmetric bradykinesia, hypokinesia, and rigidity, sometimes accompanied by tremor at rest and postural alterations.
Dystonia: is a movement disorder characterized by the existence of sustained muscle contractions, which generate repetitive twisting movements.
Respiratory System
ACUTE BRONCHITIS: It is the acute inflammation of the tracheobronchial tree, generally of a self-limited clinical course, with complete healing and normalization of lung function.
COPD: Chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD) is a process characterized by chronic obstruction of expiratory flow, due to chronic bronchitis, emphysema, or both.
Asthma: Asthma is an episodic process of reversible airway obstruction with bronchial inflammation, produced by increased reactivity of the lower airways to numerous stimuli.
Pneumonia: Pneumonia is the infection of the lung parenchyma and is more serious in smokers and immunosuppressed patients.
DYSNEA: Snnoying sensation of difficulty in breathing, which forces him to breathe in with greater muscular effort
Musculoskeletal System
Bursitis - A bursa is a small, closed sac with a minimal amount of lubricating fluid that serves as a shock absorber where the bones make close contact and to minimize trauma and friction where tendons cross the bones and joints.
Osteoporosis - "porous bone." The curse of older adults, especially women. The tough, as you lose bone quality depends on calcium. When too much calcium dissolves from the bones or not enough is replaced, bones lose density and fracture easily.
Tendinitis- Repeated tension on a tendon, the attachment of a muscle to the bone, can inflame the tendon resulting in pain and difficulty with movement involving the muscle.
Carpal Tunnel Syndrome - People whose job involves repeated wrist flexion (typing, painting houses) may develop tingling and / or pain in the thumb, index, and middle fingers along with weak finger movements thumb, especially, grasping an object. The main nerve for finely controlled movements of the thumb passes through a bony / ligament canal in the lower part of the wrist.
Muscular dystrophy: characterized by progressive degeneration of skeletal muscle without concomitant structural alteration in the nervous system.
Cardiovascular System
Heart Failure: Heart failure (HF) is a clinical syndrome resulting from any structural or functional impairment of ventricular filling or blood ejection.
Arterial Hypertension: (HBP) is defined as a persistent elevation of blood pressure (BP).
Atrial fibrillation: (AF) is the most common cardiac arrhythmia. The prevalence of the disease is higher in men and increases with age.
Heart valves: regulate the flow of blood between the chambers of the heart and its exit to the main arteries. The affectation of these, called valvular disease, prevents their correct opening or closing (valve stenosis or insufficiency).
Peripheral Vascular Pathology: is a circulation disorder that includes diseases that affect the blood vessels of the peripheral vascular system. Includes Venous Thromboembolic Disease and Arterial Ischemia.
