Cellular Transport - Coggle Diagram
Cellular Transport
Active Transport:Uses ATP, goes against concentration gradient.
-
2)Vesicle Movement:(transport large molecules):the cell membrane(pseudopodium) engulfs molecule by forming a vesicle.
-
-
Passive Transport: movement of molecules from high to low concentration gradients, requires no energy(ATP)
-
1)Simple diffusion: moves molecules through lipid bilayer until a dynamic equilibrium is reached. Ex: movement of small non-polar molecules: oxygen, C02.
Rate of diffusion :how fast diffusion occurs. Directly proportional to concentration gradient ,temperature ,and pressure.
Osmosis : solvent moves through a semi-permeable membrane.-low concentration to high concentration solute.-high concentration to low concentration solvent. Ratio=solute/solvent.
