STEP-1
Check requirements

- (Take German courses: at least level B1 (GER) required for people with vocational training)
STEP-2
Need to Book slot at respective Consulate/Embassy - Appointments to the German embassy
Prepare Required Documents
valid passport
(issued within the last 10 years and with at least 12 months validity left after the scheduled return)
Proof of academic qualification - (from a German university or
equivalent to a German academic degree)
Bachelors/Masters/PhD - Convocation/Degree Award Certificate

Demand Draft or cash for verification of documents (it is the discretion of consulate Docs verification fee may or may not ask)

STEP-3
Apply for a visa in the country of residence in respective consulate
Bring complete documents - Please prepare THREE application sets with the above-mentioned documents and bring your original certificates along.
Fees: € 75 (in local currency) - Need to take DD in INR
Please note: processing time between a few days and a couple of weeks.
STEP-4
Entry into Germany
Issuance of the entry visa for the purpose of searching
for a qualified job
Book a flight ticket or a trip to Germany
Please note
: health insurance from arrival in Germany necessary.
STEP-5
Apply for a residence permit after successful job search
Make an appointment at the responsible immigration office
Residence permit to exercise a qualified Apply for employment (Sections 18a, 18b, Paragraph 1 of the Residence Act), For EU Blue Card: Section 18b, Paragraph 2 of the Residence Act
