The American Health care system ties health care to employment which makes good healthcare inaccessible to a large number of Black people working in jobs not offering health care

Official sources, particularly the President, failed to unite the country in a unified in a cohesive way.
Statements were at times made without explaining that information might later change, creating confusion and seemingly contradictory advice.
The president gave sometime unproven advice on covid relief and downplayed the seriousness of the disease
They reported sometimes unproven or at least uncorroborated information about the coronavirus, adding to the great deluge of confusing information
They covered anti mask protests and a myriad of other issues, pulling focus from other more important aspects of handling the virus
