TYPE OF SENTENCES
INTERROGATIVE SENTENCES
EXAMPLES:-
Where did you go last night?
How is he still singing that note?
Can you learn anything?
What are you doing today?
Where are you going?
The term is used in grammar to refer to features that form questions
An interrogative sentence is a sentence whose grammatical form shows that it is a question.
Such sentences may exhibit an interrogative grammatical mood.
Asks a question.
DECLARATIVE
States a fact / an opinion
Just a statement
EX :
It is a beautiful day.
EXCLAMATORY
Ends with an exclamation marks (!)
Example 1; “It is too dangerous to climb that mountain!”
Example 2; “I got an A on my book report!”
Show strong feeling
Expresses great emotion such as excitement and happiness

DIRECTION

A simple declarative sentence consists of a subject and a predicate.
Declarative sentences are simply statements that relay information.
Always ends with a period.
