ciliary muscles pull the lens for docusing

cornea lets light into the eye and starts focusing

conjunctiva─ protects the outside of the eye

suspensory ligaments hold the lens in place

ciliary muscles relax

tension in suspensory ligaments increase

light is refracted by the lens

lens becomes less convex

pupil lets light through to the lens

optic nerve sends signals to the brain
