Lines and angles
Vertical
Angles
Parallel lines- Two lines next to each other that will never meet
Perpendicular
Horizontal
Oblique- is neither perpendicular nor parallel to a given line or surface.
Line segment
Ray- is the line which creates angles with different degrees.
Vertex where the Rays meet or where the lines meet
Right Angle- is 90 degrees and is an inside corner of a square
Acute Angle- Less than 90 degrees
Straight angle- A straight line that is a 180 degrees
Obtuse Greater that a Right Angle and less than straight angle
Reflex Angle- In between 180 and 360
Complementary angles- Is 2 angles that add up to 90 degrees.
Supplementary angles_ Is 2 angles that add up to 180 degrees.
Opposite angles- When two lines intersect, they become equal to Opposite angles.
Adjacent angles- When two lines intersect adjacent angles are next to each other.
Angles to a point- When three lines converge at the point the angles add up to 360 degrees.
