Thumbs up, Thumbs down, Thumbs in the middle : Students give a thumbs up, down, or in the middle during lessons when teacher asks to see if they understand the information

Interim/Benchmark
Definition: are given periodically throughout a school year to establish baseline achievement data and measure progress toward a standard or set of academic standards and goals
MAPS: Maps test given to students 3 times a year to track their knowledge and progress of math based on grade level and national average
DRA testing: DRA testing is given 3 times a year to student to track their progress throughout reading based on grade level and national average
Performance
Definition: a form of testing that requires students to perform a task rather than select an answer from a ready-made list.
