Alliances
:
Alliances had a massive part to play in WW1. There were two main alliances that were involved in the war. There was the triple alliance of Germany, Hungary-Austria and Italy. The other main alliance was the triple entente of Britain, Russia and France. Collectively these two alliances were the first major effectors of conflict in WW1. Italy didn't really want to fully be apart of the German and Hungary alliance so they made a deal with the french that if the Germans Attacked France Italy would not help the Germans, which was a secret treaty.
