Isolation of Macromolecules
Yeast Cells + Sand + DI
30 mL 5% TCA.
Decant Suspension into 4 Test Tubes
Centrifuge (max speed, 10 min.)
Discard supernatants.
Each test tube: +3 mL 10% NaCl.
Boil 10 min.
Centrifuge (max speed, 5 min.)
Decant supernatants (100 mL beaker)

Chromatography
Take paper. Draw line 1.5 cm edge. 6 x's.
Add 1 mL unhydrolyzed nucleic acid to microfuge tube 1.
Add 1 mL hydrolyzed protein microfuge tube 2.
Place capillary tube in each microfuge
Transfer from microfuge to X.
Repeat.
Shape to cylinder. Staple. Put in chromatography jar (w/ acetic acid)
30 min: Mark with pencils. (Solvent)
