James Wilmot may have been the first person to think that Shakespeare didn't really write all the plays and sonnets. Due to there being no record anywhere to prove that William Shakespeare of Stratford ever read a book or wrote a letter. There were no bits of his writing shown scribbled in the margins of Ovid's Metamorphoses, no Shakespearian signatures on the bottom of old letters even no name on his bible.
