Origins of humanity
All humans today are a consequence of evolution driven by the human race. We are different from other animals, but we probably all come from a common trunk, which began to divide.
Austrolopithecus
Homo Erectus
Characteristics of the Austrolopithecus:
1.-He still couldn't speak and his brain was small.
2.-They had no tools.
3.-They walked on two legs like us.
4.-They lived 1 million years, but then they became extinct.
They appeared 4 million years ago.
Homo Habilis
They appeared 2 million years ago.
Characteristics of Homo Habilis:
1.- In their hands they had a thumb.
2.- They invented tools.
3.- They did not speak either, but they made sounds.
4.- They collected food and hunted animals such as fruits, birds, eggs, etc.
5.- His brain was bigger than the Austrolopithecus.
They appeared half a million years after the appearance of Homo Habilis.
Characteristics of Homo Erectus:
1.- He had a wide nose and his face was flat.
2.- They improved the tools.
3.- They began to hunt animals such as deer and zebras.
4.- They communicated with sounds.
5.- They had knowledge of fire and used it to ward off predators.
Homo Sapiens
They appeared 200,000 years ago.
Characteristics of Homo Sapiens:
1.- They had bodies with short and thin trunks.
2.- They built traps to hunt animals.
3.- They rotated a rod on a piece of wood to make fire.
4.- They developed a language of few words.
