life in the poor conditions
colara is a disease that was food in the water supplies and it killed lots of people. people turned a black/blue colour when they got it and it killed 21,000 to 143,000 people. colara is a disease that is still a thing today and millions of people get it every year.
they had a poor amount of water supply from the wealth they had.
they was only one toilet for the whole street and they had to que up for it but some people just did it in the stream.
a family of how many you had had to live in a room and that room only having nothing else but a bed and a couple of supplies it wasn't like they had there own bedrooms.
the living conditions in this time was appalling there was poo and wee all over the streets they lived on because they did there business in a bucket at night and in the morning they just through it out the window.
people drunk alot of alchol in this time because it was at a very cheap price so when they drunk to much the would be found in the water.
a privy was a outside toilet that was the only toilet on the street and it was a plank of wood that they had to we and poo in. there where massive ques to get in because there was only 1 for about 100 people.
the water supply was not very good because there where no taps or sinks that they could of done there washing up in so they had to do it in the closes water supply like a river. and that is what water they had to drink and it was brown and had little parts inside the water.
there where a lot of people getting ill because of the water and health they had that they could not fight away. because they had no paracetamols to cure the illness people died.
the town where very overcrowded and busy because there was not a lot of places people could go to and that spread illnesses because they where near each and other.
there water supply was bad because they and to use dirty old water to drink and clean themselves with.
