Managers & leaders will act with integrity and set clear goals for individuals & the team, encourage staff and show support.
Bass developed transformational leadership. He said it has 4 I's:
Idealised influence
Intellectual stimulation
Inspirational motivation
Individual consideration
CHARISMATIC
These leaders rely on their 'personality gift' to influence people & shape their future. Reference to God from these people.
The leader relies on his own personality.
Charisma does have a part in playing effective leadership. But only if it's used for genuine reasons e.g. Martin Luther King
