Remoteness of damage: was the damage suffered by the claimant reasonably foreseeable by the defendant?

There is no need to elaborate on DoC in certain categories, only in novel situations where DoC has not been established.
If it's a novel situation, use the Caparo test.
if it is an established category, just say that a DoC is owed.
