cultural perspectives
Syria, Hyderabad, Jordan, Bangladesh
,Kenya, Karnataka
Syria
The reason we chose Syria as one of our cultural perspectives is because in the two camps, Zaatari and Azraq, several children have dreams of pursuing jobs in the future but are unable to due to the lack of education in the camp. Syria is one of our main cultural perspectives as there are two extremely huge refugee camps that are home for refugees who face extremely grave issues in Syria.
Kenya
The reason we chose Kenya is due to the fact that the refugee Education in Crisis study shows refugee enrolment in school is failing to keep pace with all the issues especially in the 'Ifo II' camp, which is the largest camp in Kenya. We will be shedding light on the different ways the UNHRC has helped and other helpful suggestions that people can do to help these refugees from home
Bangladesh
Children are removed from school and there educational systems leaving them alone and uneducated. This has been going on for decades and the government has done nothing to fix this problem as yet, which is why we wanted to put it in limelight.
Jordan
We chose Jordan is due the gravity of the situation they create. Jordan population increases drastically everyday due to the large amount of refugees coming from Syria therefore education is a major problem. Although women are give education they are not give the importance and same level of education as males.
Karnataka
Karnataka is one of the largest tribunate refugee populations it used to suffer from a large number of female education problems and health care due to the large extent of resources used. Although in the last years the government has built a special school and an educational system for these refugees increasing the women work force and giving children a way to learn. Karnataka is in India which is why it is also one of our main cultural perspectives as it is close to home

aim
The aim of this team project is to spread consciousness to the public and help people grasp knowledge about the limited quality education children receive within refugee camps, and attempt at making an impact by linking our website to 2 different organizations that collect funds to help give them a better lifestyle, and an ample amount of money to build schools.
