Where do people live? What do they eat? What do they wear? What do they do about human drives, emotions; relationships, and raising children?
Managers live in more modern buildings, and those buildings are close to the number of district they are managing on. They eat some meat and wear more comfortable uniforms, which can show their identity as managers. As they can control those chips, they usually are condescending. However, they yield to the aristocracy. Each manager must have lower than two children. Their children would also be raised by chips whose skills can never be higher than chips who are account to raise children from aristocracy.
Aristocracy is the highest power in this society. Their everything had been made by chip-people. The foods they eat, such as beef, corn, potato, are all have to pass the strict qualification test. Their children will be raised by chip-class people who have the most delicate care.
Chips' range of activity are limited with only one district and the first two number on their ID-name correspond to the number of district they live. Each districts share a few of familiarity. Firstly, the area of district is usually tiny. Then, each district usually are contained with thousands and thousands of people. Thirdly, the building they lived are inhospitable and there is nowhere clean without stains. Fourthly, there is no market to buy stuff. People eat together. Their only responsibility is to serve the aristocracy.
Who has the power? Who does the work? How do citizens relate to nature, and how does the economy function?
For the second-class citizens, they are mainly laborers who receive little education .They have to begin working as soon as they become 16. Most of them work on the assembly line in the factory, repeating the boring work every day. For the aristocracy, as they are rich, they don't have to work.
The main economy in society comes from the working people at the bottom. They work a lot every day but have a meager cost of living. And three quarters of the difference goes to the rich, and the other quarter goes to the people of the management. Because factories and labs always operation improving the technology of the society, there is serious pollution in this society. Aristocracy gain many rare items from nature, so they order the managers and chips to hunt animals or pick herbs to satisfy their needs.
Aristocracy have the right of making every final decision. They can do whatever they want and even decide the death of other two classes. If the managers or chips against them, they have the power to execute them.
What would lead our society towards the society you are describing? The creation and origin story of your dystopia must be as realistic as possible future.
Overwhelmed power of a certain class would lead to problems of this class’ ruling and conflicts between classes. Aristocracy in our dystopian world obviously had too much power.
Lack and limits of education made the Chips unaware of their identities and fate, therefore, it would lead to ignorance and blind obedience to higher classes.
Inappropriate using of the highly developing technology would lead to a society whose citizens’ fate are controlled and poisoned by the technology like the one we create does.
