        Strategies to improve learning (5)
        
        Positive environment. We will foster a context in which they feel part of the group. We will try to reinforce their self-esteem, as with other colleagues, and we will encourage them for their achievements.
        
        Strengthening of other communication channels. Accompanying our explanations with gestures, colors, diagrams, illustrations, slides, images and using new technologies. Puzzles will also help them develop cognitive skills such as attention, concentration, memorization, or problem solving. Outdoor activities stimulate other senses.
        
        Coordination with experts and families. The presence of experts in the center, in addition to contact with families, will help us to know the specific needs of each student, as well as their personality and the characteristics of their closest circle
        
        Personalized learning. We must help them develop the most appropriate personal learning environment for each of them, considering different intelligences, channels and learning styles.
        
        Suitable materials. For example, allowing students to work at home with subtitled audiovisual material, being able to repeat or pause it, without background noise, calmly and without stress. New technologies are essential, both because of their accessibility and because of the motivation they represent for students.
        
        Team work. It involves promoting inclusion and fostering values, such as empathy or tolerance, in addition to the development of social, personal, linguistic and communication skills.
