Electric Current
The flow of charged particles.
Conventional Current
The direction in which a positive test charge moves
Battery
Several galvanic cells connected together.
Electric Circuit
Any closed loop or conducting path allowing electric charges to flow
Ampere
A flow of electric charge equal to one coulomb per second.
Resistance
The measure of how strongly an object or a material impedes current produced by a potential difference.
Resistor
A device designed to have a specific resistance.
Parallel Connection
Any time the current has two or more paths to follow in a circuit.
Series Connection
A connection with only one current path in a circuit.
