Processors (CPU)
A processor Interpretes most of the computers commands a alike the Motherboard. the brain of the computer, it takes information from the inputs, processes the info and outputs the processing to the output device.

Motherboards
The motherboard is the main component of a PC without it it cannot run. The motherboard inputs all the functions for the computer.

Storage
Optical storage- An optical storage device is when data is stored onto a compact disc or a DVD. An advantage of optical storage is that it can hold a lot more data than a standard DVD meaning it can store good quality movies with good sound and picture quality.However it is more expensive than DVDs and it requires a blu ray player.

Flash storage device- flash storage is based on high speed electrically programmed memory, the speed of flash is where it got its name. USBs are examples of flash storage devices An advantage of a flash storage device such as a USB stick is that it is very easy to transport onto any device it is also relatively cheap, however due to its size it can be very easy to lose.

Magnetic storage- is one of the most affordable ways to store large amounts of data. Magnetic storage uses the two types of magnetic polarities to represent the binary information consisting of zeros and ones. Commonly used devices that use magnetic storage include magnetic tape, floppy disks and hard-disk drives. An advantage of magnetic storages is that it is relatively low in cost and it is fast access in comparison to other storage devices. However a disadvantage is that this can be easily damaged and it will slowly start to break down over time.
