Adapting to ADHD
Modify a student's working environment and schedule. Help the student by monitoring the student closely and placing them in a work environment with minimal distractions
Facilitate attention and concentration explicitly. Find what works best for the student and incorporate that to promote efficient learning. This may include offering soundproof headphone or moving to a new location.
Provide a way for the student to release their excess energy. Doing this can help the student control their energy and give them time to settle down.
Help students organize and use their time effectively. By encouraging students to be organized, it can show them how to prioritize activities and establish a routine.
