Marriage: Her husband was the poet Percy Shelly. When she was sixteen, she and Percy eloped to France.
Author: She didn't put her name on the book, when it was published in 1818. Many reviewers and readers thought that it was written by Percy Shelly.
Education: She didn't recieve formal education but her father encouraged her to read his books. Their household was a place of intellectual conversaiton.
