- Mary Wollstonecraft Shelley was born 30th August 1797.
- She was an English novelist.
- Her father was the political philosopher and her mother was the philosopher and feminist activist.
- Shelley's mother died after giving birth to her and she was raised by her father encouraging her to adhere to his own anarchist political theories.
- She influenced by her father and his friends, she took an interest in literature and philosophy. She spent most of her childhood reading books and writing stories.
- She married with Percy Bysshe Shelley (one of the famous poets of the period) after a difficult process.
- In the summer of 1816, se turned the thought of Frankenstein, which came to her mind after a nightmare she saw half awake, into a novel.
- Cause of the brain tumour, she dead at age 53. (1st February 1851)
