After the experiment, the true purpose of it should be revealed to the people who partake in it
Right to withdraw
Participants should be able to withdraw at any point of the experiment. (includes after the experiment has finished.)

Deception
The researcher should avoid deceiving participants about the nature of the research unless there is no alternative.
If there is deception used, researches must aim to justify it.

Informed consent
Participants must consent to the experiment via an agreement, if the participant is under the age of 18, they must have a parent or a guardian agree for them
Ethics is integral to psychological research because it serves to protect the participants involved.
