PHYSICS HW
Buoyant force
It causes an object to float
It is caused on an object which is in a fluid
Archimedes principle
It is the weight of a the displaced fluid.
FB = Vpg
Example 1: A ship floats in water with the help of the buoyant force.
Fluids
A substance that constantly deforms or flows.
Examples 1 : Water
Examples 2 : Air
Examples 3 : Blood
Examples 4 : Lemonade
Density
In simple words density is basically the weight of an object or how heavy it is.
D = M/V
Example 1: A rock is more dense than a feather.
Depth
The distance between the top and bottom of a substance.
Example 1. The depth of a swimming pool
Example 2; The depth of a lake/river.
Pressure
P = F/A
The physical force acted on an object.
The unit for pressure is pascals (pa)
