What Is Slam poetry?

It's based on the poetic nature of the composition as well as on the performance, how the poet delivers it.
It's not only about the words, but bringing the act and turning those letters on a page into powerful, expressive, thought-provoking performances.
You must make the viewer feel your thoughts, what you put into this poem, how strongly you feel for it.
Rhyming isn't necessary nor important, but what makes all the difference is the R H Y T H M, how you deliver it.
