Karma- Both religions believed in the law of the universe are controlled by Karma.
Diety- A god or Goddess
Brahma- The creator god of Hinduism
Dharma- Must fulfill your role in society, Honesty, honor, love, and family
The Eightfold Path- Right understanding, right speech, right livelihood, right concentration, right mindfulness, right effort, right action, and right intention.
Caste system- Which made up of four main categories, Ranking society. The first being the Brahmins, who were mostly teachers and Intellectuals. Second are the Kshatriyas, who were made up of the warriors and the rulers. Third were the Vaishyas, who were the traders. And lastly were the Shudras, who did all of the menial jobs.
Samsara (AKA reincarnation) - the rebirth of a soul in a new body going in a cycle.
The Four Yogas- Karma, Bhakti, Raja, and Jnana
Vedas- Ancient Hindu scriptures, written in Sanskrit containing hymns ( a religious song or poem of god).

Upanishads- A series of Hindu dedicated treatises written in Sanskrit from c. 800 through 200 BC, advancing the Vedas in predominantly mystical terms
Stages of spiritual evolution-
Dalai Lama- Most important monk of the Gelug school. Most current Dalai lama is Tenzin Gyatso he is the 14th dalai lama.
The Four Noble Truths- The first noble truth is the truth of suffering, followed by the truth of the cause of suffering, the third is the truth of the end of suffering, and lastly is the truth of the path that leads to the end of suffering.
Bodhisattva- Any person on the path towards Buddhahood, or anyone who has made a resolution to become a Buddha.
The four passing sights- The first sight is an old man that is week and frail, the second sight was a sick man, the third sight was a corpse on a funeral pyre, and the last sight was a holy man.
Siddhartha/Buddha- Siddhartha was a philosopher, mendicant, mediator, spiritual teacher, but most known for being the founder of Buddhism.
The holy trinity of Shiva- Shiva is considered destruction, along with Brahma and Vishnu as a trinity.
