Shadow Angle
It describes the position of the sun in Azimuth and Altitude
HSA: Horizontal Shadow Angle
VSA: Vertical Shadow Angle
Horizontal Shadow Angle
HSA is the difference between sun's position and orientation of the building face considered when the edge of the shadow fall on the point considered
when HSA is between +/- 90 degrees and 270 degrees, then the sun is behind the facade, the latter is in shade, there is no HSA
Vertical Shadow Angle
VSA is measured on a plane perpendicular to the building face
VSA can only exists when the HSA is between -90 degrees and +90 degrees
When the sun is directly opposite the building face, the solar altitude angle will equal the VSA
