Key Features of Rehabilitation of Offenders Act 1974
aims to enable offenders to gain employment.
all caution and convictions resulting in prison sentences of up to four years eventually become spent
after specified time passed, an ex-offender does not normally have to mention their criminal conviction when applying or job.
the 1974 act was updated by legal aid, sentencing and punishment of offenders act 2012
