Goal
To achieve maximum decolorization efficiency of dye from textile effluent by using laccase immobilized nanoparticles
(Nano-Bioremediation)
Objectives
To construct the remedy of polluted textile effluent by enzymatic treatment of wastewater from microbial source
To determine the efficiency of dye removal from wastewater by enzyme immobilized nanoparticles
Methods
Assessment and Evaluation
Production of laccase from
Bacillus
sp. is determined by comparing laccase produced by other microorganisms
Synthesis of nanoparticles (ZnO) assessed by SEM and FTIR
Immobilization of nanoparticles (ZnO) analyzed by SEM and FTIR
Analysis of wastewater treatment by observing decolorization efficiency by Chemical Oxygen Demand (COD), visual observation, Spectrophotometric analysis and physicochemical characterization
Wastewater treatment is evaluated by comparing its decolorizing effect with control water
At every step of assessment, Enzyme activity of laccase is evaluated by Calorimetric assay and Total Protein is analyzed by Bradford's Assay
