RELIGIOUS/CULTURAL DIETS
Jainism

Fast: during festivals, only
Islam
Forbidden: pork, lard, or any pork substance, alcohol, etc
Fast: voluntary fasting on monday and thursday
Ramadan is mandatory (no food or water from down to sunset)

Hinduism
Forbidden: meat. Fish, poultry and eggs. Also some avoid garlic, onions, alcohol tea and coffe.
Fast: depending on The day (sundays, every 10th and 11th of each month etc)
Judaism
Forbidden: emulsifiers and stabilizers of animal origin, gelatin, non ksher meat, birds of prey.
Fast: in yom kippur they can’t eat for 25h, also partial fast days (no food or drink from sunrise to sunset)
