      - It threatens to delete a users files or to place restrictions on a users software or resources.
      - It puts pressure on the user to convince them to pay now.
  - - - This is when criminals try to gain access to your personal information by sending an email to the user.
      - The email will ask the user to respond by putting their personal data which can then be used to access the users account.
      - SMS phishing
        
        This is is when a criminal tries to access your personal data by sending an SMS to your mobile phone.
      - Spear phishing
        
        This when a criminal targets a specific group of people to try to access their personal data.
    - - This is when a criminal tires to gain access of a users personal data by using a fake website that looks similar to the one a business uses.
      - To get users o their website they change the spelling so if the user makes a mistake he will land on the website or by redirecting the user to their website when he tries to access the real website.
      - The user will believe that this is the real website and will give all his personal data for the criminals to use.
