Things I Know To Be True
Rosie's Monologue
Facial Expression
She talks of travelling the world and has an excited, sort of amazed expression
When she talks about her family, she looks much more at home and ease with a real smile on her face
When talking about Emanual she looks elated and ecstatic, in love
When Emanual leaves, she has tears streaming down her face and her once calm and excited demeanor starts to break down until all she can think about it going home
The Hands
It seemed like she was very uncomfortable with it, however, she didn't stop the hands from touching her. This could show the uncertainty she has for intimacy which she describes as something "more"

Pip's letter
-
The table and setting constantly moving, Pip and Mum staying in one place
When Pip talks about the man, she grabs jacket and gets up and when she finishes talking about him she takes off her jacket sits down and says how it's between her and his own family. Her walking with her jacket and purse could represent the trip she took away from her family in Australia to Canada, or the distance she went when she left Steve.

Mark
Mark on their own on one side of the stage, whereas parents and Rosie on the other
Blue lighting, dim, raining
-
Soaked in rain when they get to house; cold, shaking vulnerable when they have to come out to parents
'Nothing you say will shock us.' 'Unless you tell us you're a woman.' laughter... silence... realisation
