        Forelimbs are flippers to aide in swimming in the water
        
        Hide legs have disappeared to reduce dragging
        
        Aides in escaping from predators and swimming faster to catch prey

        Feed: Krill, other smaller animals (seals, whales), fish, octopus, squids, crabs, etc
        
        Takes advantage of summer months as the sea is nutrient rich
        
        Protection: horns (narwhal), releasing fecal matter into the water and swirling with fins to distract the predator's appetite, sonar to stunn (sperm whale)

        Walrus: Long tusks to forage and defend. Can be used to attract mates as well

        Young have fur that is shed off once blubber is grown

        Coats are white to blend in with the snow during the winter and brown during the summer to blend in with the soil and vegetation
        
        Polar Bears and Grizzly Bears
        
        Coat color depends on where they live
        
        White (polar bears) = within the Arctic Circle
        
        Brown, black (Grizzly) = Arctic Refuge
        
        Hibernate for 8 months
        
        Muskox

        Winter Feed: graze on roots, mosses and lichens
        
        Summer Feed: Arctic flowers and grass
        
        Births to 1 calf every year or two year depending on feeding conditions
        
        Main predator: Arctic wolves, Grizzly and Polar Bears
        
        Protect by forming a circle around young and use horns to stab the predators
