Talking About My Idea
What is My Competitive Advantage
Pricing
Pricing is the one thing no musician will ever have to stress about at the studio as we ensure that every musician can afford to record their music.
Pricing for recording at the studio is 20 dollars per song. This is 60% cheaper then the most "affordable studios" which can range from 50 to 500 dollars per song. At minimum, a musician is expected to spend roughly 2000 dollars at minimum recording their album.
If a musician was to decide that they wanted to record and master an album of 10 songs at R&R Studio, it would cost them 300 dollars. That 20 dollars per song with an attached 10 dollars for a mastering fee on every song.
Post Recording Offers
We offer musicians help with releasing and promoting their music after their time at the studio has finished.
We give these offers to our recording musicians because we want to ensure that they know that we truly care for them and want to see them succeed.
We offer to post on our social media about the upcoming release to show a wider audience the news and we offer to help them find shows or get in contact with booking agents to help them get bigger.
Small Town Audience
In small towns such as Kokomo, there is a strong and thriving music scene that is limited to the options for recording or playing music.
There is many more committed musicians that are trying to break through into the music world that are in small towns than in big cities where studios and labels will often turn away musicians and will never give them a chance.
A small town audience is much more likely to be committed to a studio based off of the way that musicians will commit to playing at the same venue every month because they feel as if they are improving and putting their name into the world.
What Is The Customer Problem I Am Solving
Affordability
Most musicians trying to make a name for themselves cannot afford a nice home studio or time in a professional recording studio.
We charge musicians by the song and not by the hour in order to ensure that the musician can both afford to make the song perfect and can walk away from the studio feeling like they have something that they are proud of on recording.
Other studios will charge an extremely high amount to record music and that is what pushes upcoming musicians away from the studios and makes them give up on it and that is why charging by the song is a more preferable option.
Not Having A Studio
Most small towns that have smaller music scenes do not have a recording studio to record at.
Some also cannot afford or make their way to a music store to buy their own home studio setup.
We set up a studio in areas that have shown to want and need a recording studio.
Not Being Able to Travel
For a lot of people, the most common issue is that they cannot afford to travel all the way to Los Angeles or New York to get to the best studio possible.
We base the studio(s) in areas where there isn't many good studio options for people to go to.
We make sure that there is a big enough music scene in areas and then meet those areas in the middle so that at most, the musicians will only have to drive about 20 minutes to get to the studio.
