Definition: this concept suggests that texts (literary and non-literary) to have a range of possible meanings. Since we all don't see or perceive things in the same way.
Definition: The concept of transformation relates to the idea of 'intertextuality' in that whether the text transforms the ideas that are represented in other texts. Perceiving the text can also transform one's perspective about a subject as well.
How are characters a fair portrayal of reality?
Definition: this concept is central to our lives, we are constantly exposed to a variety of perspectives through time and space to confirm and challenge your views on what it is to be human
Definition: In context of the perception of texts, creativity is used to interpret and understand a text, including exploring the potential meanings. Creativity is also required in authorial intentions and how author chooses to communicate his/her ideas to achieve their purpose
Definition: The collective ideas and values that we share. Also, the social practices, rituals, habits, and traditions we engage in.
Definition: the purpose of writing is for the author to communicate with the reader or audience through their utilisation of language, style and structure.

With different purposes conveying certain ideas to the different groups of audiences however these ideas are sometimes interpreted in many ways than the author anticipated
