Then & Now
From a simple, wooden biplane, The Wright Brothers turned the world into a cornucopia of travel completely.
The Wright Brothers' text and observations are now in the American Smithsonian Museum.
The Plane Truth
After this great success, The Wright Brothers moved to powered flight. There was no engine powerful enough for them at the time, so they made their own! They certainly had the "wright" idea!
The pilot laid on the bottom wing of their biplane design and steered with a flexible rudder.
The first flight of the plane only lasted 12 seconds and covered a distance of 36 meters!

History
Wilbur and Orville Wright were born in 1867 and 1861, Dayton, Ohio.
Wilbur was the more outspoken of the brothers, while Orville was a bit shyer than him.
The 2 brothers never married. Wilbur famously said "I would never had time to have a wife and an airplane." :silhouettes: :red_cross:
