Five Great Elements: Prithivi (earth), Apah (waters), Tejah/Agni (light/fire), Akash (space), and Vayu (air)
Brahman displayed universe just like God in Genesis without a sense of form and darkness.
Apah in this article relates to the creation narrative in that God created water on the second day.
Agni = spring of life. Just like Genesis 1-2, God creates life for us all to experience. The fire in Genesis was a product of the light that was brought upon us by God.
Akash = space. God creates heavens and earth in the creation narratives which take up space.
Through Vayu, one cannot withstand without breathing (Pranu) just like the creations God makes with our lives from the sky created.
Rig Veda = Prithivi and mahabhuta. Relates to Genesis 1-2 in that Mary is the mother of God. Prithivi = mother and protector in Vedic. Protects the environment immensely.
Atharva Veda = scripture that is somewhat respectable to Earth.
Prithivi Sukta: bonds between earth and humans. All about finding that survival and protection to see growth in environment.
Agni = creator of life. He is the soul that makes a mark on the environment in Vedic.
