Tempo
Tempo's can range from 1 bpm to more than 1000
Also known as "metronome marking"
Measured by 'BPM' or 'beats per minute'
terms/tempo markings/indicators (mostly Italian) are used for such as
:
Larghissimo – very, very slowly (24 bpm and under)
Andante – at a walking pace (76–108 bpm)
Moderato – at a moderate speed (98–112 bpm)
Allegro – fast, quick, and bright (120–156 bpm)
Tempo is the rate of speed of rhythm of the specific music piece
dynamics are indicated by specific musical notation such as
:
p - piano (soft)
f - forte (loud or strong)
crescendo - cresc (increasing)
decrescendo - decresc (decreasing)
sfz - sforzando (forceful accent)
It indicates how quietly or loudly a piece of music should be played
Dynamics of a a music piece is how the sound of specific notes would hear and should sound like
