        Hitachi Zosen Corporation in Sept 2018 began issuing three-year 5 billion yen green bonds to fund environmental projects. One example of which is funding for building a waste to energy plant for the Kikuchi Environmental Preservation Association to be completed in 2021. Hitachi Zosen will use the proceeds from the issuing of green bonds to further fund their own EfW plants.
