What is it?

When one doesn't value themselves it can cause multiple emotional issues such as: Depression,Anxiety,Stress, and PTSD

Studies have shown that depression can cause the brain to age at a higher rate than normal

Lacking self worth can also cause your peers to doubt themselves as well. It is just like the say you become who you hang around.

To improve your own self esteem and start to value your self as a person you must block out or stop carrying about your public image. I'm not saying go crazy on Instagram or Facebook, I mean don't let other people's opinion alter your mood.

Being your self is key when it comes to improvement, in the beginning of this stage you have to do what you think is fun or the right choice.

Set the example

Self Worth is the value one has of them self to keep a positive mindset. When you don't take into consideration other people's views or opinions of ones self.

As social media continues to grow negativity accompanies it. Society is drawn to the bad side of media just to make more people click on their story. ( Click Bait )

Social media is known to cause mental issues due to bullying online. Although cyber bullying is a cause of the illnesses, sometimes nothing has to be said to cause a person to doubt themselves. What I mean by this is that when they see others in nice clothes hanging out with others it makes them feel left out or unwanted.

Although it can cause to this problem it also provides help to those in need. Hotlines are available at any hour, just for someone to talk to about your situation. Social Media is also a way to make new friends and expand.

No matter what it comes down to, such as a cute outfit or fashion design. All the way up to an entrepreneur making sales in a company. (Authenticity)

Why?

Self-Worth is lacking in modern society commonly seen in teenagers. This is caused by them feeling the need to fit in with certain school groups.

Having a good self-esteem wouldn't just benefit you, it would also help your friends

Once you stop caring about others opinions you will be so much happier, or just feel like some pressure has been lifted off your back.

Everyone has some sort of issue going on inside them, even if they don't want to admit it. So keep in mind while you change you have a chance to be a role model for others hiding in the corner.

Not only would it help your friend group grow closer together it will just help provide pure happiness.

Once you realize that everyone is going through it as well they just don't wanna talk about it. Set the example make it known that you can do what you want in this life.
